Create graphic emails with HTML template

To create emails with an HTML template, there are a few things you need to bear in mind, which I will summarize below. It is best to first create a document template under [Correspondence > Templates] with a meaningful name.

• Switch to the tab [E-Mail].
• Select a send address in the top right-hand corner, select the option [SMTP] and for format [HTML].
• Switch to the tab [HTML template] in the second tab row. Now create your HTML template, within which the main document text should appear. Enter the placeholder {document} at the position where the document text should appear (in the body of your HTML template). If you also want to insert the subject, the placeholder for this is {subject}, each including curly brackets.
• Now create your main document text. The main document text can also contain HTML code. In gFM-Business Professional, the main text can be created as HTML code under the [Text view] can be edited with the TinyMCE rich text editor.
• In the register [Preview] In the second tab row you can view a preview of your e-mail
• Before you send a newsletter to several recipients, it is best to first create a single document under [Correspondence > Documents]assign your new document template to the document and send the e-mail to your own address as a test.
