The gFM-Business ERP software does not include an integrated point of sale (POS) system as standard. However, thanks to the open architecture of gFM-Business, any other POS system (not only FileMaker-based) can be connected without any problems. There are also hardware POS systems available on the market that have an interface for transferring data to ERP software, for example.
If a cash register solution based on FileMaker already exists, it can also be connected directly to the gFM-Business ERP software with FileMaker.
The experienced FileMaker developer and co-founder of the German FileMaker Conference has written a detailed guide on his blog on how to create a Bank and credit card terminal with FileMaker can be used.
With AppleCash a ready-to-use FileMaker-based POS software is available on the market.
