In the upcoming gFM Business version 6.4, we are integrating the following in the [Orders] of the Invoicing module, a new function has been added that allows articles to be conveniently booked out of items using an EAN code scanner. Simply scan the EAN code of the item and gFM Business will automatically recognize which item it is in the order. Optionally, a serial number can be scanned in directly after scanning the EAN code, which is then automatically entered in the order item when it is booked out.
From the next version onwards, there will be a button in the order module that can be used to open the dialog for scanning items. This button can also be found in the main menu, where the barcode of an order ID can also be scanned in order to call up an order directly via scanner.
The upcoming version 6.4 of the gFM Business ERP software is expected to be released in spring 2023.
