gFM-Business free, Basic and Light include a FileMaker Runtime with which the databases can be run on Mac and Windows without an additional FileMaker license. This FileMaker Runtime offers all functions for the use of databases, but is not network-compatible.
However, there is still a way to use the Runtime single-user versions on the move. As all programs do not write any further data to the operating system folder, for example, during installation, gFM-Business free, Basic and Light can always be started simply from the gFM-Business folder. It is therefore possible to copy the gFM Business folder to a USB stick or an external hard disk, for example, and start it from there. The software starts without any problems on any computer with the same operating system.
