On April 25, Claris released a new version of the FileMaker platform and updated the version number from 19.x to 2023 - the versions will therefore be named like the current years in the future.
For programmers: Internally, the new FileMaker version reports version 20.1.
FileMaker 2023 now includes a free basic license of Claris Connect, which can be used to connect various services such as Slack or Twilio to FileMaker. More information about the new version on the FileMaker Magazine or on the Claris page (Information under the form for the trial version).
gFM-Business remains downward compatible up to FileMaker 17
No upgrade to the current FileMaker 2023 platform from Claris is required to run the gFM-Business ERP software. Our software can continue to be operated from FileMaker version 17 without any problems. We recommend upgrading to FileMaker 2023 especially if you need the new functions of the new FileMaker platform for development as part of an open license of gFM-Business or your own FileMaker solution.
